Position
Waterford is currently looking for a Sales Manager to join the team. We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, driven person who can open closed doors and is not shy about making cold calls to targeted businesses. This individual will lead sales and manage the continued growth of the business.

This position reports to the President and has functional responsibilities with the Director, Client Services, and the Director, Marketing & Operations

Primary Role

• Develop new accounts through active prospecting, referrals, leads and personal initiatives
• Develop new business opportunities by expanding into and targeting new areas
• Use cold calling, phone calling, e-mail and direct mail to open doors to targeted companies
• Use ACT software program
• Meet with prospective customers and participate in site tours
• Work with internal team to develop proposals and presentations

Skills

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
• Able to prioritize work, be flexible and work with minimum supervision
• Proficient in using computer software including; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be a self-motivated and able to work independently
• Must be able to competently meet deadlines, often under pressure
• Post-secondary education is required. University degree is preferred
• Valid driver's license
